EziTracker to sponsor 2009 Ceretas Home Care Worker Award
Panztel have recently announced that eziTracker hm will once again be sponsoring the Ceretas Home Care Worker Award for Wales.
Recognising the work of the 6,000 strong army of homecare workers across Wales, the award is intended to highlight the valuable contribution made by Welsh homecare workers to the quality of life of disabled and elderly people. It is only by the efforts of these carers that thousands of service users are able to maintain their independence and continue living in their own homes.
Throughout Wales people have been asked to nominate carers who have demonstrated outstanding excellence in their field of work and four nominees have been selected for the award. This is the 2nd year running that Panztel have sponsored the award and the winner will be announced at the Awards Gala Event at the Marriott Hotel in London on the 6th June.
Jenny Lewarne, Marketing Assistant for Panztel (UK) Ltd said: Over 46,000 people in Wales have been able to stay living in their homes thanks to the efforts of homecare workers who largely remain unsung heroes of our society. As a Welsh-based company providing a service used by thousands of homecare workers we are delighted to be the sponsors for this award. On behalf of the eziTracker hm team I congratulate all the nominees and wish the four finalists the best of luck at the Gala Event.
This year’s finalists are: Ian Macphail ( Complete Homecare), Shirley Payne ( Gwynedd Council), Clive Holland ( Rhondda Cynod Taf County Council) and Sonya O’Connell (Bridgend County Council).
