Benefits to Clients
Continuity of Care
Homecare service users are typically elderly clients who are highly dependent on timely homecare delivery. Consequently any form of service breakdown can cause a potential crisis for the service user. EziTracker’s automated alerts mean that supervisors are notified immediately if carers fail to log in on site as scheduled, allowing management to respond immediately and take action to ensure continuity of care.
Third Party Verification
By providing independent third party verification of care workers’ actual time and attendance hours, Ezitracker ensures that homecare service users are spared any requirement to sign a timesheet. As a result, service users are not exposed to the stress of disputes over timekeeping, removing the scope for any undue pressure to sign for inexact hours in attendance.
Prevents Overpayments
An increasing proportion of the funding for homecare provision is now expected to come directly from the service users (clients), and today the majority of service users are required to pay for at least part of their homecare costs. These clients will clearly benefit from eziTracker’s ability to prevent overpayment by ensuring that users only pay for the care hours actually delivered.
Transparency
A new feature to eziTracker hm means that clients are now able to see a record of the verified homecare hours that they have received. The eziTracker Service User Module allows service users (clients) and their relatives to view this information online. This represents a real advance for clients, whose relatives will be reassured by being able to see that the planned care is actually being delivered.
