Implementing hm - Care Commissioners
Panztel are highly experienced in managing the implementation of
multiprovider homecare management system projects.
The initial step is to define the requirements of all stakeholders – service users/clients, carers,
external providers, in-house care team, authority commissioning staff, authority provider
mangers, IT specialists and suppliers of interconnecting systems. From this we will design
the top level system to map what information is required in each part of the process. Panztel’s
project manager will work in tandem with the authority’s project manager to coordinate other
software vendors and to provide expert support to the authority and the providers. Our project
managers are of course PRINCE2 certified. Our training specialists will perform a training needs
analysis and tailor courses for the differing needs of each user group. Usually the project will
go live in stages and Panztel will be with you all the way. Finally system documentation ensures
a clean handover to the eziTracker hm help desk for ongoing support.
Commissioners say:
“We were delighted with the rollout of eziTracker.
The training was simple and we experienced far
fewer problems than we expected. The project has
been much easier to implement than I had feared
and only took seven weeks for our nine teams.”
Sarah Morris, Homecare Manager,
London Borough of Hillingdon.
UK Implementation of homecare monitoring
For UK Local Authorities the first step towards implementing Electronic Homecare Monitoring (EHM) will be to choose a supplier and this will usually require the use of a formal tender process. This process has now been made much easier by the recent introduction of the ESPO EHM Framework Agreement, which has been designed to offer a simple and effective route to purchasing and implementing EHM. The Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO) is a public sector purchasing consortium covering the whole of the UK.
